Changes to road charging in Belgium and The Netherlands
Recent changes to road toll / kilometer charge in Belgium and The Netherlands impact the cost of road transport services.
Dear customer,
We would like to inform you about recent changes to road toll / kilometer charge in Belgium and The Netherlands that impact the cost of road transport services. Both changes took effect on 1 July 2026:
- Belgium made changes to its road tax tariffs: the new rates for the kilometer charge vary by region.
- The Netherlands introduced a new truck toll: trucks weighing 3.5 tons or more must now pay per kilometer.
As these changes are mandated by the competent authorities and beyond our control, any costs arising from their implementation will be passed on to our customers.
