Antwerp, 29/5/2026 – Zuidnatie has been awarded the Platinum label, the highest honor awarded to companies that have retained the Best Managed Companies label for seven consecutive years. The programme assesses participants annually against a globally proven framework. It recognises family-owned companies that translate a clear strategy, strong competencies, and commitment to the business into solid financial results. The jury has recognised Zuidnatie for its outstanding business performance, granting it the right to carry the ultimate quality label.
This year marks the ninth edition of the Best Managed Companies programme in Belgium, where Deloitte Private, Econopolis, and KU Leuven search for high-performing companies in the Belgian entrepreneurial landscape. Throughout the process, companies are guided by a Best Managed Companies coach from Deloitte Private, who challenged Zuidnatie to reflect on its strategy, operational, and financial processes.
Stéphanie Feys, Managing Director at Zuidnatie: “We have been a proud member of the Best Managed Companies community for seven years. It is a true honour to now be recognized as Platinum laureate. This label reflects Zuidnatie’s status as an agile family business with a clear long-term vision that keeps growing, together with its people.”
Bruno Peelaers, Best Managed Companies Programme Leader and Partner at Deloitte Private: “These companies – often family-owned businesses or firms with strong local roots – have been a key driver of the Belgian economy for years. They combine entrepreneurship with a long-term perspective, make targeted investments in growth and innovation, and simultaneously continue to build trust among customers, employees, and the communities in which they operate. What makes these companies particularly strong is their ability to remain agile in a rapidly changing market without losing their people-centric approach. The Best Managed laureates are true legacy makers: organizations that create sustainable value today while building a lasting impact for future generations. Their investments in technology and digital transformation, including AI, not only strengthen their own competitiveness but also contribute to the resilience and future-proofing of our Belgian economy.”
