Ownership Antwerp Railhouse (ARH)

Zuidnatie Breakbulk has taken over Antwerp Railhouse (ARH) since 1 January 2026.

Zuidnatie Breakbulk has taken over Antwerp Railhouse (ARH) since 1 January 2026. The two warehouses, located at quay 464-484, were originally built and opened in 2018 and started as a joint venture between Zuidnatie, Conti7 and Van Dyck. Zuidnatie recently purchased the warehouses from Conti and Van Moer and is now the main operator.

One warehouse is reserved exclusively for the handling of steel plates with overhead cranes, while the other is used for storage. Both warehouses have access to rail for the delivery and collection of goods, hence the name. With this acquisition, Zuidnatie aims to position itself even more strongly as a “trimodal” player in the market. Furthermore, the acquisition supports Zuidnatie’s sustainability strategy by enabling greater use of rail transport, which takes trucks off the road and leads to lower CO₂ emissions.
