National Strike – 10-12 March 2026
A national strike will take place between Tuesday evening March 10 and Thursday March 12, which is expected to cause disruptions in the Port of Antwerp-Bruges this week. We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to provide updates on this page as new information becomes available.

Dear customer,
We regret to inform you that disruptions are expected due to a planned national strike in Belgium. The national strike takes place starting Tuesday evening, March 10 at 7:30 p.m. With additional actions at certain warehouses and a national strike on Thursday, March 12, the nautical chain will be almost completely at a standstill this week.
At this stage, it is impossible to predict the extent or exact consequences of these actions in the port of Antwerp, but operational impact may be possible.
Zuidnatie in all of its activities is undertaking all reasonable efforts to mitigate this, however please do note that (heavy) delays are possible which go beyond any responsibility of Zuidnatie.
