Dear customer,

We regret to inform you that an emergency incident involving hydrofluoric acid at the Deurganckdock is causing major disruption in the Port of Antwerp.

Following safety measures imposed by the authorities, operations at the affected MPET terminal, as well as most terminals and empty container depots on the left bank, have been suspended. As a result, container pick-up and delivery by barge and truck are currently not possible. Even after operations resume, congestion and backlogs are likely to impact transport activities for several days.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will keep you updated.

Given that these delays are the result of circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to reject any costs arising from them.

Thank you for your understanding.
