Zuidnatie wins Port/Terminal Operator of the Year at Heavy Lift Awards for the second time

Zuidnatie was awarded Port/Terminal Operator of the Year for the second time, putting forward an entry that “ticked all the boxes”, according to the judges.

The Port/Terminal Operator of the Year award attracted strong submissions from Broekman Logistics, DSV, Logistec, Zuidnatie and PSA Breakbulk all of which demonstrated a dedication to the safe and efficient handling of heavy lift and project cargo.

It was the port of Antwerp-Bruges’s Zuidnatie that secured the win this year again, standing out as a market leader in its region with a well-rounded offering that ticked all the boxes. It showcased its expertise in handling heavy lift and project cargo and has undertaken several initiatives to address the importance of safety at its terminals; invested in its equipment fleet to handle heavy cargoes; worked to minimise wait times for customers; and invested in technology to optimise loading procedures.
