Antwerp, 23/5/2025 – Zuidnatie has been reaffirmed as a Gold laureate in the Best Managed Companies programme. The programme assesses participants annually against a globally proven framework. It recognises family-owned companies that translate a clear strategy, strong competencies, and commitment to the business into solid financial results. The jury has recognised Zuidnatie for its outstanding business performance, granting it the right to carry the quality label for another year.
This year marks the eighth edition of the Best Managed Companies programme in Belgium, where Deloitte Private, Econopolis, and KU Leuven search for high-performing companies in the Belgian entrepreneurial landscape. Throughout the process, companies are guided by a Best Managed Companies coach from Deloitte Private, who challenged Zuidnatie to reflect on its strategy, operational, and financial processes.
“It is an honour to once again receive the Gold label and remain part of this exclusive community of high-performing Belgian family businesses. Our recognition as a Best Managed Company, for the sixth consecutive year, proves that we possess strong assets to guide us through difficult times and face the challenges of tomorrow.” says Stéphanie Feys, Managing Director at Zuidnatie.
Zuidnatie’s executive committee received the recognition during a ceremony at the Deloitte Gateway building. As every year, Zuidnatie celebrated the win with all its employees. This year they chose ‘golden’ ‘chocolate pralines’.
“Each year, Best Managed Companies recognises and supports strong family-owned businesses in Belgium. It is a privilege to witness their resilience, innovative spirit, and commitment to sustainable growth and management. These companies highlight the importance of continuous improvement and operational excellence and demonstrate the lasting value of the Best Managed Companies programme. This year, we are especially pleased to see how they embrace ‘stagility’ – the perfect blend of stability and agility – to navigate the ever-changing landscape,” says Bruno Peelaers, Best Managed Companies Programme Leader and Partner at Deloitte Private.
